Care at home means that you can stay in your own home with your family, your pets and familiar surroundings. Staying close to your friends and neighbours. You can do what you want, when you want to – with a little or a lot of support from us. We realise that most of our clients do not want to have complete dependence on others, we will always promote independence in any circumstance. Your elderly loved-one will always feel comfortable while receiving daily support they require, living well at home.

With Care of a Kind, you have complete freedom of choice over care services. We keep in close contact with both our clients and our carers, so if at any time you feel as though things are not working out, you can always tell us and we will happily find a suitable replacement. If you have any problems or concerns, you can change a carer at any time, simply by contacting our office. We will talk through the reasons for your decision and endeavour to introduce another carer that will suit you better.

One of a Kind.

We understand how precious your loved one is to you and how unique they are. We also appreciate how daunting it can be to research and source the care you need for yourself or your loved one.

We fundamentally believe that there is no ‘one size fits all’ care package and like to work with you and your loved one to understand your specific requirements and how we can help. We’ll then create a bespoke care package and match your relative with their ideal carer, we are not in the business of offering services you don’t need – we are a small friendly team so you can rest assured there are no “sales pitches”. Our aim is to get the care you need, in the time you need it.

We are fully regulated by the Care Quality Commission who are the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England, who makes sure we provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care. This means we are regularly inspected, rated and audited and ensures that we are a safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led organisation, committed to delivering the best possible care.

We’re also proud members of the Homecare Association, the U.K’s membership body for home care providers, which holds organisations to a high set of standards and requests them to abide by a strict code of practice.

Trained Staff.

With industry experience of over 20 years in homecare and the NHS, we understand recruitment. All our carers undergo a through recruitment and induction process, which includes background and criminal records checks and references. Most of our training is carried out face to face, we would always sign off on competencies prior to any care package starting. We also ensure are familiar with any equipment in our service users homes, which is signed off by our Registered Manager or Nurse. All of our carers are paid the London living wage and more. They are well looked after, support is on hand for all of our staff and we have an open door policy.

If everyday tasks are becoming more of a challenge, get in touch with us.

We are here to help – the right carer can change your life.
